Greetings, Earthlings!  (No, I’m just kidding.)
How are you?

This week has been good/hard/bad/happy/sad/funny/serious/exhausting/energizing/etc. Oh, well maybe that is every week. It’ll be a short one this week, but I wanted to share a story with you.

“There was once a man who woke up one morning and decided he wanted to do something great. He prayed to God to receive instruction on how to achieve his goal. God said, “Go out in front of your house. There is a large boulder. I want you to push it.”
The man nodded his head and each morning he would wake up early and begin pushing against the boulder. He would push all the way
STOCK.pushing.boulderuntil nightfall came. This went on for several weeks and months. Then, one day, when the man was pushing against the boulder, the devil came to him. “What are you doing?” He asked the man. “I’m pushing this boulder” responded the man. “Why? You haven’t pushed it anywhere. It hasn’t budged even a millimeter, you’re not doing anything. Simply wasting your time.” The devil laughed.
The man walked away into the darkness of his house discouraged. He fell to his knees and said, “God, I’ve been doing what you demanded. I’ve been pushing against this boulder. But it hasn’t even moved a millimeter. I have failed you. I’ll never attempt to do anything great ever again.”
Suddenly, God appeared. “My son, I did indeed ask you to push the boulder. But you have not failed me by not moving it.  Stand.” The man rose to his feet. “Look at yourself. You are now strong and healthy. You have amazing stamina and energy. Your strength has increased by 10 times. You have not failed. You are now ready to do what I have planned. You are now ready to do something great.”
Hang in there. The sun’ll come out tomorrow.
Proverbs 3:5-6

¶Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I love you all.  Thank you for everything!
